British jihadist 'killed in Syrian airstrike'

A British jihadist is believed to have been killed in Syria while fighting for Isis, Metro Uk reports.
Abu Abdullah al-Britani (also known as William Hasmou Clinic) was reported killed in Hawigat Saqr in a government airstrike.

His death was announced on Twitter.

The nearby city of Deir ez Zur was bombed earlier today reportedly killing him and fellow fighter Ahmad Bakir.

Previously he had called on British Muslims to join him in Syria tweeting: ‘I’m sure more lions roaming around the UK. Get yourself over here.’

He is believed to have fathered a daughter and got married in Syria. He referred to his daughter as his ‘little princess mujahidah.

The Foreign office said in a statement: ‘We are aware of reports of the death of a British national in Syria.

‘The UK has advised for some time against all travel to Syria, where all UK consular services are suspended. As we do not have any representation in Syria, it is extremely difficult to get any confirmation of deaths or injuries and our options for supporting British nationals there are extremely limited.’
