EKITI State University (EKSU) has announced that a total of 5859
students will be graduating from the institution in its 19th convocation
ceremonies scheduled to hold on Friday.
The vice chancellor of the institution, Professor Oladipo Aina, who
disclosed this while addressing the 19th convocation press conference on
Monday, said 3,057 full time, 695 part time, 885 affiliate colleges,
664 sandwich and 558 post-graduate would be graduating, and added that
11 of the graduating regular students made first class honours.
Professor Aina said that the dream of making the university a world
class academic institution was on course and noted that “our focus has
been on building a culture of academic excellence that is founded on
adequate infrastructure and a conducive environment for research,
teaching and learning.
