Judge orders psychiatric evaluation for Oscar Pistorius

A judge overseeing the murder trial of former Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has ordered the accused to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
On Wednesday, Judge Thokozile Masipa said that the trial would be put on hold until the testing was complete.
"A doubt has been created," she said, following the testimony of psychiatrist Dr. Meryl Vorster on Monday that Pistorius suffers from an anxiety disorder brought on by the childhood trauma of a double amputation and unstable parents.
"The accused may not have raised the issue that he was not criminally responsible at the time of the incident in so many words," the judge said, "but evidence raised on his behalf cannot be ignored."
The trial is set to reconvene on May 20
