British Woman Murdered At Her Safari Lodge In South Africa

A British woman, Christine Robinson, was murdered at her luxury South African safari lodge by one of her own employees so he could steal the staff wages, police suspect.

The family of Christine, 59, who was stabbed in the neck, spoke of their devastation over the death of a “compassionate and adventurous” former teacher.

They said it would be “despicable” if one her staff was responsible because she “treated them all as family”.

South African police are hunting a Zimbabwean man who worked at the lodge and has disappeared.

Mrs Robinson was found dead on Wednesday at the Rra Ditau lodge in the picturesque foothills of the Waterberg mountains in the northern Limpopo province.
