Chelsea fan dies after Lampard equaliser for Manchester City

A Ugandan footballer and staunch Chelsea fan died of suspected heart failure moments after Frank Lampard equalised in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against The Blues on Sunday, Metro Uk reported.

Fahad Musana – who played for army side Simba FC – had reportedly been watching the Premier League clash in Bombo when he collapsed following the 36-year-old’s strike against his former club at the Etihad stadium.

The 23-year-old’s teammate, Gerald Bagoole, said: ‘We trained with him on Sunday morning, had lunch together.

‘When the Premier League matches commenced, he went to watch from near his residence.

‘He has been a passionate fan of Chelsea and would do anything for the club, apart from gambling.’
Musana’s death resulted in Simba pushing back their match against Soana to October.
