Pregnant Isis teenagers: We made a huge mistake and want to come home

Two teenagers who became ‘poster girls’ for Isis when they left Austria for Syria are now pregnant – and say they want to come home, Metro UK reported.

Samra Kesinovic, 17, and Sabina Selimovic, 15, left Vienna to take part in the so-called holy war in April, telling parents in a note not to look for them because they had gone ‘to serve and die for Allah.’

However Austrian newspaper Oesterreich reports that the pair – who quickly became poster girls for the radical Islamist group – now say they want to return home after being married off to two Chechen fighters and becoming pregnant.

A spokesman for Austria’s Interior Ministry said, however, that a return is unlikely.

‘The main problem is about people coming back to Austria. Once they leave it is almost impossible,’ said Karl-Heinz Grundboeck.
