Thailand Murder: Suspects stage reconstruction of backpacker killings

Two migrant workers who confessed to killing Brits Hannah Witheridge and David Miller have visited the scene of the crime to stage a reconstruction, Mirror UK reported.

Pictures show the handcuffed Burmese men, named only as Saw and Win, being led down to the Koh Tao beach where the tourists' bodies were found last month.

Wearing protective vests and helmets, the pair are guided along the waters' edge, watched by huge crowds, as one of the men appears to point out areas of interest to detectives.
Another is seen wielding a large white implement, apparently representing the murder weapon.
And in a later shot an actor lies on the sand in a rocky alcove, as Mr Witheridge was found.

Thailand's top cop said they had conducted a crime scene reconstruction "in order to get a sense of what happened"

Police said yesterday that the two migrant workers had confessed to the killing "after being interrogated".

Hannah, 23, and David, 24, were found dead on September 15 close to the hotel where they were staying.

They had spent the evening before their deaths with friends at a bar on the Thai island of Koh Tao.
