According to the Mail Online, a
father suffering a fatal heart attack suffocated his baby daughter when he
collapsed on top of her in a 'tragic accident', an inquest heard today.
David Tester, 43, was holding
one-year-old daughter, Georgie in the bathroom at their home in Gravesend,
Kent, and was brushing her death when he experienced a major blood clot in his
heart.
As her father toppled on top of her,
the little girl, who had been conceived via IVF, was left trapped and unable to
breathe.
Mr Tester and Georgie were taken to
Darent Valley Hospital, in Dartford but were later pronounced dead.
An inquest into the toddler's death
at the Coroner's Office in Gravesend today ruled that her death had been an
accident.
The inquest heard how Georgie's mum,
Emma Tester, 39, had arrived home from work at around 4.45pm on June 11 to find
both her husband and daughter unresponsive on the bathroom floor.
