The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Muslim
Pilgrims Welfare Board on Wednesday released the 2014 Hajj fare for intending
pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, NAN reports.
This is contained in a
statement signed by its Director, Media, Alhaji Muhammed Aliyu, in Abuja.
According to the
statement, intending pilgrims are to pay a maximum amount of N813,561 or a
minimum of N735,561 per seat.
It said intending pilgrims
from the territory had up to August 1, to pay the balance or lose their
seats.
The board warned
intending pilgrims yet to submit completed application forms and e-passports to
do so before the deadline.
“The warning is
necessary as the board will soon commence the process of acquiring visa from
the Saudi Arabian embassy in Abuja.’’
